About Sibley State Park

Sibley State Park near New London sits on the shores of Andrew Lake and is named for Henry Hastings Sibley, Minnesota's first governor. Civilian Conservation Corps crews built the park's rustic stone structures between 1935 and 1938 under a master plan meant to reduce crowding among swimmers, picnickers, and campers.
