About Saint Croix State Park

Saint Croix State Park, Minnesota's largest at nearly 34,000 acres, follows 21 miles of the St. Croix River and includes the final seven miles of the Kettle River in Pine County. Developed as a Recreational Demonstration Area in the 1930s, it retains 164 Civilian Conservation Corps and WPA structures, the largest collection of New Deal-era buildings in the state.
