About John A. Latsch State Park
John A. Latsch State Park is a largely undeveloped, 1,654-acre park on the Mississippi River 12 miles northwest of Winona, dominated by three steep bluffs known as Mount Faith, Mount Hope, and Mount Charity that rise 500 feet above the water. It has a single trail and a small walk-in campground currently closed to use, functioning mainly as a wayside along U.S. Route 61 next to Lock and Dam No. 5.
