Crow Wing State Park sits where the Crow Wing River meets the Mississippi, on the ground once occupied by Old Crow Wing, among Minnesota's largest settlements through the 1850s and 1860s. The park carries a National Register of Historic Places listing dating to 1970, and a surviving stretch of the Red River Trails through the old townsite is listed separately.
