About Lake Louise State Park

Lake Louise State Park lies near Le Roy in Mower County, just north of the Iowa border, centered on a 25-acre man-made lake within 1,168 acres of prairie and deciduous forest. It's used for picnicking, swimming, camping, hiking, and horseback riding, and is noted among butterfly watchers for rare species sightings. Its picnic shelter dates to the Public Works Administration era.
