The Pedego Avenue Step-Thru is an easy, comfortable e-bike built for cruising paved trails, exploring local parks, grabbing lunch, or turning an ordinary afternoon into a mini adventure. Five levels of pedal assist let you decide how much work you want to do, while the step-thru frame makes getting on and off simple. Pick it up from Pedego Twin Cities in Mendota Heights and head straight for the river. The nearby Big Rivers Regional Trail offers a scenic, mostly flat paved ride overlooking the Minnesota and Mississippi river valleys, with connections toward historic Mendota, Lilydale, Fort Snelling and the broader Twin Cities trail network. It’s an easy place to turn a rental into a relaxed afternoon of river views, trail cruising and exploring some of the area’s most scenic riding. With speeds up to 20 mph and plenty of range for a day of exploring, the Avenue is a great choice whether you're new to e-bikes or just want to cover more ground without showing up to lunch looking like you raced the Tour de France.

Safety First

• Always wear a helmet and follow local bike and trail rules.
• E-bike acceleration can feel stronger than a traditional bike. Start with a lower pedal-assist level until you’re comfortable with the bike.
• Slow down around pedestrians, intersections, blind corners, and busy trail crossings.

Pro Tips

✦ Start easy. Pedal Assist 1 or 2 is plenty for getting used to the Avenue, then bump it up when you hit a hill or want a little extra zip.
✦ Save some battery for the ride home. Higher assist is fun, but using lower levels on the flats gives you more flexibility for a longer adventure.
